I have downloaded some Apple Arcade games on my iPhone 11 after I subscribed on my iPhone 11. For some reason it won’t download on my app TV HD even though both of my devices are running the latest software. I have tried everything I can to tried to make it work. From restart to sign out of my iCloud account and sign back in. It didn’t fix the problem. So, do anyone have other solutions that might be helpful?
There are some Apple Arcade apps that require Apple TV 4K rather than Apple TV HD. Ideally incompatible titles shouldn't download, but The Pathless is one that I have managed to install on my ATV HD, but it won't play. What titles are involved? Do you get any error messages and if so what are they?

When I downloaded a game for the first time directly from Apple TV HD, it works. Unfortunately, still can’t figure out why the the Apple Arcade games I downloaded on iPhone does download on Apple TV even though they all sign in with the same iCloud account.
I am having the same issue. When I download new games on my Apple TV that I never downloaded before on any other device, they came downloads. When I try to download games I’ve already downloaded on other devices, it gives me the same message and will start downloading then abruptly stop. Also, if I click to download one of my previously downloaded games that I already have on my iPad, it automatically tries to download all previously downloaded games, even though I only wanted to download one a specific one. However, they all show up to download on the Home Screen then when they’re about to finish downloading they disappear. Shame on Apple for this.

Then that is what should happen. What do you see when you look at the icon for the app? Any sign of the download progressing. You might try restarting your Apple TV then try again. What is the title with the issue? I could try it here.

I don't have an answer for you yet. I started downloading 2K21 on my TV 4HD a few hours ago but its only at around 10% and I need to leave for work. Judging from what I see Continue Playing seems to list Apple Arcade apps you've downloaded on elsewhere but haven't yet installed on that particular device.

You are right. I have tried to install them but they all not working. I don’t know what is wrong with it. As I said earlier, if I downloaded it directly on the Apple TV HD for the first time. It works as it intended.
For some reason it is start to working properly. The Apple Arcade games I downloaded on my iPhone 11 was able download to on my Apple HD. This was surprise to me. Anyway, thanks for all your supports.

Do any of the games under continue playing requires Apple 4K TV?
Sorry, to hear this. At the same time, I learned I am not the only one who experience this issue. Hopefully, Apple can address this problem with the next software update.
BTW 2K21 did eventually download on my TV 4HD and it seems to run OK.
