Windows installation keeps getting cancelled.
Hi everyone, so I’ve been trying to install windows through boot camp on my Intel MacBook Pro 2020 through the regular Bootcamp assistant installation with the latest Windows ISO from the official source and I keep getting the error shown in the picture when I try to go through the process as normal.
After I see this prompt, I click “OK” and the screen goes dark and then becomes dimly lit with a white loading wheel that spins for a second and then disappears. I then have to boot up again manually and press/hold Option to boot into “Macintosh HD” since it keeps trying to boot into “EFI Boot” instead. There’s also another option to boot into called “Windows” but when I try that, it goes through the installation process again and gets stuck at the same area with the same exact prompt and problem again.
I’m not sure what to do about this problem? I’ve already tried to remove the bootcamp partition and reinstall MacOS and then go through the install process again from there but it came back to this same problem again. I don’t have anything plugged into my MacBook except for the charger/power adapter that came with it. I am also on Big Sur 11.4 and the ISO files I’m using is Win10_21H1_English_x64.iso if that makes a difference. I am also giving bootcamp 170 gb of space. My Macintosh HD is formatted in apfs as well, I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
I've also tried to PRAM reset and run first aid on my disks but still did not work and have the same problem. Also, I've tried to use an older version of Windows (20H2) and that did not work either, same problem. Filevault has been turned off too.
