Messages display with Mac airlock
my iMessages on may MacBook Air are arranged in alphabetical order of sender and not in chronological of delivery. how can I get back to chronological?

If we understand correctly, your received messages are in alphabetical order by sender. We can understand why you’d reach out for a solution. To start, is the Mac running the most current operating system? Are messages stored in the cloud? Have you tried signing out, signing back into the Message App? Is your Apple ID & phone number listed as ways to contact you? Have the messages ever listed correctly? If you use an iPhone, are the messages listed correctly there?
