The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

Is it still in warranty? Leave unplugged for 10 minutes, then try the Press the top of HomePod to reset it section of Reset HomePod - Apple Support to see if you can get it to reset.
