Wi-Fi is very short range; typically about 50 meters (165 feet). Once you are farther away from your router than that you can’t use Wi-Fi. Your phone should also have cellular data (called mobile data in some countries). Go to Settings/Cellular (or Settings/Mobile Data) and see if you can turn it on. If you cannot you must contact your cellular network provider.
