Cmd Key acting like its stuck - Mac Mini M1

My Mac Mini randomly acts like the Cmd key is stuck down. I've tried two keyboards, both Bluetooth, one 3rd party the other the Apple Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad (also tried wired)

I'm also running a Wacom Intous Pro Medium.

The issue seems to be random, I've tried in safe mode, and although the issue didn't seem to be there the Mac can go several hours without the issue happening and I've not tried safe mode for more than half an hour.

I've also reinstalled OS Big Sur and the same issue persists.

Could this be a software issue with Adobe CC or a Driver issue with Wacom?

Anyone else had this issue?

Hello GESWhat,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support communities. We understand that you are having issues with 2 different keyboards behaving as if the command key is being pressed and we understand that this happens randomly. We would love to help you with this.

Testing the issue in safe mode and reinstalling the mac OS would have definitely been a suggestion and since you've done that already and noticed that the issue isn't present means that there is an issue within the user that is causing this.

Since you've tested with other hardware and in safe mode the issue is likely with some part of software on you device. You can try and uninstall items you think may be causing it and reinstall them one by one to test to find out which one it is.

Feel free to reach back out if you find anything new to add.

Thank you for allowing us to support you.

Have an awesome and productive day!
