Need to delete a phone that I do not have in hand

Would like to reset phone to factory settings from my iPad

If you have Find My turned on in your iPhone before you lost access to it (turned on automatically, unless you turn it off manually), you can reset your iPhone from your iPad by doing the following:

  1. Open Find My > Devices > tap on your iPhone
  2. Tap Erase This Device
  3. Now tap Erase again and you’re done ☑️

An erased device can not be located or tracked any longer.
