iPhone 12 Pro Max
Hey ChuckC78,
It appears your Voyager 5200 Series is having issues reconnecting to your iPhone 12 Pro Max. To get started, you can see if turning both the devices off and back on again helps: Restart your iPhone
Another step is to ensure that your iPhone is fully updated: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch If there is an available update, you'll want to make sure that you back up your iPhone first: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
You can also ensure the firmware for your Voyager is fully updated to under the Documentation & Software section of this link: VOYAGER 5200 SERIES SUPPORT
You'll also want to make sure there is no wireless interference between your iPhone and Voyager: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
Take care!
Interesting. One post. No followup. That usually means that the original poster found the solution useful, 10 months ago. And there were no posts in the thread from anyone else with a problem. That’s almost unheard of for a problem that affects a lot of users.
Which of these suggested steps did you try?
There is nothing for Apple to fix. “Hundreds” (which I sincerely doubt as being gross exaggeration) is meaningless in a universe of over one billion iPhones and probably hundreds of thousands of Plantronics headphones. It’s almost certainly an issue with the Plantronics and the way it is being set up. For example, did you properly put it into Pairing mode when trying to connect? Have you tried resetting it to factory settings, over the possibility that its pairing table is full? As I recall, Plantronics products in general can only pair to two different devices; at least that’s the way my last Plantronics product worked. If it still works that way it would be necessary to reset it before trying to pair again.
there is an existing thread on this issue from late 2020 that has no successful resolution. Hundreds of users still having this problem. This answer is useless. Apple needs to fix this.
