Input signal on monitor

Today when I connected my macbook air 2017 with an old external monitor everything in monitor is working fine but Only one box is popping out saying input signal out of range please change to 1600x900@60Hz but when i am changing it it’s still showing. Please help.

HDMI no signal Hello everyone! I'm experiencing an issue here. I'm using MacBook Air 2017 with external monitor. I use MiniDP reduction to HDMI and HDMI cable to connect it to the monitor. A few moments ago I plugged MacBook in to charge up, but at this exact moment the monitor went off and started displaying "HDMI no signal". I already tried to reset SMC and NVRAM, but issue still remains. I tried checked HDMI with my windows laptop and it works just fine. The "HDMI no signal" appears right after, when I connect it to the reduction (which was at the time disconnected from MB, when I tried it). So is this an issue with MacBook or just the reduction isn't working properly?

New Asus monitor displays "out of range" error after Monterey upgrade-no picture! Help! I have a 13 inch 2020 MacBook Pro and I just bought a new Asus monitor which were perfectly working together until I stupidly upgraded from Big Sur to Monterey. Now the monitor is no longer working and instead is displaying a black screen with the message: "out of range." I researched this and no one seems to know how to fix this. Instead of waiting for Apple to fix this bug, can I uninstall Monterey without hurting the computer?

My MacAir (early 2015) dose not sends signal to my external monitor. My MacAir (early 2015) no longer signal to my external monitor. It's been working few weeks without any issue. I tried resetting SMC and NVRAM/PRAM as recommended. Did not solve the problem. Ruled out cable and monitor issue. Please help!
