If I join a family, do I keep my purchases?

I currently have a Apple Music subscription with playlists as well as iTunes and App Store purchases, what happens to all of those items when I join a family group?

You keep your own purchase and the other family members can share what you have already purchased if you allow them to do so. You will not be sharing your playlists. You can share the Apple Music subscription, iCloud storage if it is set up for the family to share as well as apps, music, books, movies, TV shows, and more.
