Does silent clicking option help to solve problem of cursor jumps while typing?

while I'm searching solutions online for cursor jumps while typing. I found this useful for me.

  1. Problem occurs because when ever I'm typing my both palms below thumb touches track pad every now and then.
  2. Problem solved (I don't know how it happened. I think it works only for me) by checking silent clicking option on under the pointer & clicks tab in track pad preferences.
  3. My doubt : does this feature is implemented by the apple mainly to provide uninterrupted typing?
  4. I want know if there is any better solutions for this problem.
  5. Currently it works because trackpad preference is set as cursor pointer has to go disappear if it is idle for 3 seconds.
  6. And if a tap click or any other click has to happen it has to appear by shaking a pointer a little bit first.
  7. This approach is fine. But is there any option that immediately shifts/disables/deactivates the trackpad the moment any key is pressed and waits for a second before activating again if there is no other keys pressed simultaneously?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4
