My iphone IS tapped (11promax)

I know, I know. “It’s impossible.” But I’m telling you, my phone is tapped.. this guy has had NO access to my phone to install anything on it, yet has 100% proven to me, without any doubt, that 1) he can see my texts, 2) hear my calls, and 3) see through my camera. I’ve researched this thoroughly, it’s possible, you can pay big bills to tap someone’s phone even if all you have is their phone number and not their actual phone. I’ve searched and searched, but I can’t find a way to prove it to the police. I’ve stumbled across “field test mode will show if phone is tapped” several times, but I can’t find out how to read it no matter how much I try to figure it out. Also, if I’m recording on my iphone, he can speak through the speaker. No, I do not hear things or voices, this is real. I have been to a psychiatrist to successfully get a mental health clearing. I know I can reset my phone, but for what, when he is just able to put the tap back on? And yes, I could get a new phone number, but he can easily call my work pretending to be my father and get it and there we are again. I am trapped, stuck, I feel hunted and paralyzed. I want him OUT of my phone and my life. I am so angry for what this person has done to me, stalking, harassing, invading my life. And the police can’t do anything for me bc I can’t prove it.. but I can’t accept this current. I refuse to just continue being miserable and let him keep doing this. Apple, you OWE us help. Please help. Someone, somewhere knows about this. This is a thing, for sure. Somebody up top, you know about this, speak up for once, I know you see this. HELP me. How do I prove this tap, and, stop it?

No, it really isn't possible. It is far more likely that this person is just very good at making you think they can do that,

If your Apple ID has been compromised, someone could access a lot of your data, enough to fool you into thinking they know more than they do. Start here:

If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

If this person is calling your place of employment and getting information about you, you need to notify your HR department. They need to properly enforce policies on giving out personal information. You should also advise any of your co-workers not to give out information. For that matter, don't give your co-workers your private cell phone number. Then, they can't give it to anyone.

If someone is stalking you, you need to contact the police.

Wrong answer, next please. Yes, it can be hacked, as I said I found though my research and —personal experience.— Please reread my message sir. My device is NOT jailbroken nor have I downloaded *anything* harmful, nor have I shared any sensitive information with anyone. Yet I have been shown he knows things I only ever texted, and I heard him speak on my calls “I hear you, can you hear me?” and other whispered things, and several times in my phone recording he said things, like “nice eyes” when I showed myself and “I know your recording” another time.

First off... wrong place. You're not talking to Apple here. The folks reading and responding are just users like yourself. You might bear that in mind when responding to them. So if you think Apple owe you something then you'll need to contact them directly.

Second: I've never heard of someone having to prove a crime has been committed. The person reports the crime and the police investigate. If they don't then you need to hire a lawyer. Again this is not the place for that kind of support.

Best of luck.

Um yeah, it really is possible. My apple id isn’t compromised, gone through that already too. Consider expanding your small mindedness for once. I literally tell you it’s been proven but you don’t care. And as I said, if you even read all of my post, the police have been contacted, and my work is aware but I’m not going to go through it all- if I change my number, there will be someone there, at least one coworker, who was off when the policy was enforced etc, like herding cats, it just simply won’t work. He will eventually get my new number. Here’s some links to catch you up to reality.

With the exception of the article on stingrays, all of those links are ads or paid promotions for things that don't really do what they say they do. They are scams to get your money.

A stingray is another issue entirely. Unless the person harassing you is in law enforcement and you are the target of an investigation, though, that's not what's happening.

You never said that you'd contacted the police. You asserted they couldn't help you.

Change your number and do NOT give it to anyone at work. If that means getting a basic phone with another number you can give to work for emergencies, get a prepaid phone for that.

However, it's very clear you're way too invested in this mistaken idea that your phone itself has been hacked and tryng to actually help you any further is a waste of my time.

Best of luck.

Read the terms of use you agreed to when you signed up. They explain everything. And pointing out to you that you're wasting your time posting here is not bullying, it's actually helping you. Why waste time being rude here when you could actually be doing something to solve your problem?

And you're welcome, of course.

You have a nice day now.

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed on your device or/and have Jail Broken.

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful are you in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password etc with your friends and family members.

Be careful when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

Thumb Rules:

  1. Enable  Guided Access before handing over an iPhone to kids
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jail Break
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device and payment methods
  5. Beware of Phishing
