What controls/improves camera use on macbook pro?

My macbook pro overheats when using the camera for videoconferencing. What upgrade will improve this? That is, what hardware and software control this?

I have tried all the usual steps to be sure the fans are working properly. No problem there.

Help, please.

In short, what do I need to be sure that I videoconferencing can run successfully?

Early 2014 13" MacBook Air Hello everyone !! I have an Early 2014 13" MacBook Air and I love editing in iMovie. Last night I made a short video for a friend(around one minute long) and I noticed the Mac was getting very hot and the fan started spinning as fast as it could while exporting the video. Any ideas on how to keep it away from overheating? It runs on MacOS Big Sur 11.7.1, all apps are up to date including iMovie.

It looks like the answer is gpu.

the problem is on a 2017 MacBook pro 13 inch with only discrete gpu.

My question is general and not specific to the equipment I have but in reference to the best equipment to purchase for all day video conferencing.
