Apple Compressor not working

Hi, This is my first time here, I hope someone can help me with this issue.


I bought Apple Compressor this week and I have not been able to get it to work, I'm running FCPX but I just keep getting this error message every time I click the Start Batch button.


Unable to Submit to queue. Please restart your computer or verify your Compressor installation is correct.


I've clicked the restart button and that didn't solve it. I have uninstalled Compressor using the free FCS Remover programme (I think that's what it is called), then reinstalled Compressor as I followed instructions from an Apple Support page, but that hasn't solved the issue either.


My machine is a MacBook Pro Mid 2015, 2.2 GHz Quad Core i7 16GB RAM and I'm using FCPX.

Tom's suggestions are in System Preferences:



Call up this and adjust as described:



Also this is in System Preferences.

Compressor needs permission to access space to put it's stuff in:



Full Disc access will cover it.

You may have to unlock the lock with your Admin Password and select Compressor, then tick it to grant the necessary permission.
