iPhone 11 not recognize on High Sierra

Hi experts,

I'm turning to you to help me out with this problem I have been enduring for the last year...

Ever since I changed my phone to iphone 11 (iOS 14.6), when I plug it with lightning to usb in my Imac 27" late 2012 (on High Sierra), the iMac doesn't see it. I used to plug my iphone and back it up and use Image capture to transfer my photos and videos. Image capture doesn't see the iphone either...

I also have a MacBook Pro around the same age and it doesn't work either. It's probably something of an incompatibility between High Sierra and the iOS but I couldn't find a post that would explain it to me.

So any ideas what the problem is, and how can I transfer my photos and videos to my computer where I am used to manage everything? Airdrop doesn't work either. I know I should upgrade my PC but I have professional software I use that is not yet supported on M1 chip so I'm in limbo. Thanks in advance for reading all this! Take care!

You probably need to make sure your iTunes version is the absolute newest. Check for updates:
