OneDrive (not responding) on MacBook Pro M1 Big Sure 11.4

When I try to open OneDrive, it doesn't appear to mac menu bar and in activity monitor the process is stuck (not responding). I can't stop it. I kill the processes via the terminal. After that I start OneDrive, it begins to Sign In, but after a while it disappears again. I know that I can Reset or Delete and Install again, but my question is: Is there any way to fix this problem without Reset and Uninstall, because I have a lot of folders which I have to sync again and I don't want to do this. Thanks.

Hello baremka80,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities!

We see that OneDrive is stuck and keeps showing not responding on your Mac.

We’d be happy to help you!

We’d recommend trying to boot into a safe mode per How to use safe mode on your Mac first and see if the app works in that mode.

You can follow the steps in If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open also and

contact the app developer before deleting and redownloading if you are concerned about losing documents.

Take care.
