Contact Microsoft or look at their support site.
Assume you have a paid subscription with them.

Assume you have a paid subscription with them.
You must either be a current subscriber to Microsoft 365 or paid for Office 2019 for Mac. In either case, Microsoft will have provided an activation key that you use to activate the respective products. Microsoft Office applications downloaded from the Mac App Store are Microsoft 365 applications and require a subscription.
