GPS syncing to my watch

When I set a destination on my iPhone maps my phone doesn’t alway display or notify the route.

How can I fix it?

Workout routes not showing in 9.2 (Race Route) In WatchOS 9.2 I’m not seeing routes in the Workout app. When I go to the start of my route, select Outdoor Run and filter on Routes, there are no options. I run the same route all the time and it shows up in Fitness on my iPhone so I know the watch and/or phone is recording the route. I thought it might have something to do with my route not being along a public road. So I just tested by running the same half mile twice on a sidewalk next to a road known to Maps. It measured the 0.5 miles the same within a stride or two so that tells me the GPS reading is consistent. Still when I went back to the start of the route it did not show up in Workouts. Apple Watch Cellular vs. GPS I am currently looking to purchase the series 7 apple watch. This is going to be my first ever apple watch. I am just stuck on which one to get, I want the GPS one as I don't have the money to pay extra monthly for cellular. BUT I was wondering.. I always have my phone with me so would I still be able to make calls or send messages through the watch when my phone is with me? Like what are the differences between the 2 watches when my phone is always with me? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple Watch resetting to New York and Cupertino All I just got a new iPhone 14 pro and synced it to my Apple Watch 6. Most apps work fine but the weather keeps resetting to New York and Cupertino instead of about 20 other cities on my iPhone. Both devices are on their latest os versions and I restarted both number of times. I also unpaired and paired it. I tried Apple support but they were clueless. I also deleted NY and Cupertino from my watch but they keep reappearing The weather app worked fine on my old iPhone 8. The cities show fine in my Apple Watch app on iPhone, just not on my Apple Watch. Anybody knows the fix? Thanks

Are you running the latest updates on both devices? Which series is it? Have you gone thru the calibration already?
