stollen or missing i tunes purchase

Has anyone had tracks or albums they have purchased through iTunes stolen, lost or went missing. After many many hours wasted speaking to Apple technical support they have told me that although they sympathies with my predicament they can’t get them onto my Mac, even though I have some on my iPad. There only solution was for me to go back to iTunes and purchase them again at an estimated cost of £1680. Even then, they told me that if the publisher changes or withdraw the track after I have repurchased them there is no guarantee that they will remain available for me to for any length of time.

I am looking for advice.

If you downloaded them when you bought them, then the most likely place they are now is on your hard drive (possibly in Trash/Recycle) or any backups you have made.

If you are still using the same Apple ID, are in the same country, and the content is still available, you may be able to redownload fresh copies at no charge. Follow the steps in here:
