iPhone Volume

When I connect to my vehicle with Bluetooth my phones volume is decreased. I do not want this to happen. How do I change this setting? It just recently started. I saw another thread regarding this and an apple expert was beating around the bush. They suggested simply turning the volume back up after disconnecting from the vehicle. If I have to do this everytime I get out of my car I will be an android user by the end of the week.
