Airpod Replacement - is it worth it?

Hey guys-

My right airpod is busted. It doesn’t connect to my iphone (or any iphone device). Apple care representative ran diagnostic tests and troubleshooting efforts. It’s really broken and they advice replacement. Diagnostic report also confirmed no water contamination or physical broken parts, means I really took care of it for more than a year.

Replacement cost is 40% of a brand new device. I’m worried the next problem is going to be the left airpod. It didn’t take so much time before one got broken. It’s like when a tire is replaced, you feel like you want to change all four. Ever had this feeling?

Anyway, is replacement worth it or should I opt in to brand new? Both is stressing me out 😩 Thoughts anyone? 🥺
