HomePod Mini set up fail error code 301014

I follow the steps to set up my Pod mini as instructed but when it gets to the Apple ID it still has my old id w/o the email address and I cannot finish the setup as that id in not a valid id. Is there a way for me to change that on my phone so I can continue the setup ?

You should be signed in with your current ID on your phone with two factor authentication enabled and keychain turned on- once you’ve signed in with the correct ID enable these. If you changed it you should follow these steps: What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

In settings on your phone, at the top - Your name - make sure you are signed in. See: Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support
