Apple CarPlay usage

We use my phone for CarPlay when driving for directions and music. However when my husband is driving and I want to search on my phone or use social media those apps/sites override the music and stop it or play. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

How do I make CarPlay privacy decisions? There doesn’t appear to be a way to control what level of privacy I want when using CarPlay. For instance when an acquaintance is in the passenger seat of my car—and I want to limit what is accessible and viewable in CarPlay, how can I do that? I may even want to have the phone not be a part of the experience—maybe I only want maps and one of my podcast apps available, and maybe music. To me these seem like basic choices I should have easily available. Is there any support for this or announced plans?

CarPlay Hello i have an issue that arises from time to time with CarPlay. If I’m using CarPlay but choose to just do Bluetooth instead of CarPlay for music it like breaks my CarPlay and I have to remove not only my car from CarPlay but also Bluetooth. So basically reset the whole setup. It’s pretty frustrating. Is there a fix for this or am I just stuck never using Bluetooth only for music to avoid having to go through that frustration?

Can Apple PLEASE add the ability to remove a song from a library/playlist via CarPlay? 50% of my listening is directly from my phone. When listening to a song on my iPhone, I have the ability to remove a song from my library or a playlist right then and there. The other 50% of my listening is via CarPlay in my car. There is NO way to remove a song from a library or playlist via CarPlay. I can't do it with a touchscreen click, I can't do it with Siri, there is literally NO way to do it. This is seriously the ONLY thing keeping me on Spotify. I WANT to switch to Apple Music, but this one feature alone is a dealbreaker. Its not a distraction issue... Spotify literally lets me click the "heart" button on the screen, and the song is removed from my "Liked Songs" (equivalent of Apple Music's Library). It takes a fraction of a second and is not a distraction. I can't understand how Spotify's CarPlay integration is more functional that Apple Music's.
