No order acknowledgement email

FIRST TIME BUYER. On Thursday (July 8 2021) I purchased an iPod and an iPod case from the Apple online store. After checkout, it told me the expected dates for both items, but I haven't received an order acknowledgement email. I read on Apple's website that it could take up to 24 hours to receive the order acknowledgement email. My bank account has also not been charged at all for the items. With no order acknowledgement email and no charge to my bank account, what does this mean? Has Apple received my order or not?

It is beginning to look as though Apple did not receive your order, although it's difficult to be certain. There's not much that can go wrong with placing an order: you submit the order, they receive it and acknowledge it. Did you supply the correct email address for the acknowledgement?

It's more probable that having received your order, they then inform you that there's a delay to fulfilling your order, but at least you would have heard from them.

Are you sure you completed the ordering process and that you did not ignore any warnings that your order could not be completed? Beyond that, if Apple haven't received an order from you, there's no practical way to tell you that you haven't placed an order.

Possibly, your only option now is wait a few days more, to see whether your bank account is debited.
