Hello!

I want to delete photographs from my iPhone 7 since I am low on space. However, I would like to keep the pictures in my MacBook Air computer.

But when I try to delete the pictures in my phone I get the message that the pictures will be deleted in "all my devices".

How can I keep the pictures in my computer but delete them in my phone?

Is there a setting for this in my phone?

Thanks for the help!

John

Hello John,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you want to remove the photos from your iPhone 7, but keep them on your MacBook Air. We'll be glad to assist you with this process.

What you can do is export the photos on your Mac to a different place on your Mac or an external drive. Use these steps to complete this: Export photos, videos, and slideshows from Photos on Mac

Then you can delete the photos from your iPhone 7. This will remove the photos from your Mac in the Photos app. However, you will still have access to the photos where you exported them to.

Have a great day!
