Beats won’t pair
I have just got my iPhone 12 Pro and my Beats Studio 3 won’t pair with it, I never had this problem with my XR. My screen also keeps dimming by itself. I have checked all the settings are correct.

If you can't connect to your wireless Beats product
Then, check to see if auto-brightness is enabled on your device. That may be why you're seeing the brightness change. If you'd like it not to change, disabling this feature would be best: Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
