All notes disappeared from my iphone

I checked every way I could and they are all gone

I’ve tried the suggestions and nothing worked. I’m particularly concerned about retrieving the notes and note folders on my phone, not so much from my email accounts.


from the Home Screen, if I swipe right once and then type “recipe” in the search bar. It shows two of the recipes I added on 6/30. When I click to view them it brings to the notes app and nothing happens. It doesn’t display the note.

I had deleted Apple Mail and used Gmail App instead. Scanning in Notes worked fine until just recently. When I deleted Gmail App and restored Apple Mail, the scanning functionality was restored in Notes. Apple Mail wants to combine my two Gmail accounts so all the emails appear in one inbox. How do I separate? I All other components/folders of the two accounts are separate except the Inbox.
