Can I use my MacBook Pro 61W charger to charge MacBook Air M1 (30W charger) ?

I am using usb c cable came with MacBook Pro . Wanted to know of it damaged the batter or Mac if I used higher wattage adapter.

Your M1 MacBook Air will be fine when charged with a 61W charger. Your MacBook Air controls the charging power input and therefore will not damage itself.
