How do I AirDrop my iPad notes to Mac?

I need to factory reset my iPad, but I don't want to lose the content on it. Nor do I want to transfer my notes/files one by one, as it will take forever.

I tried to share my notes through airdrop, but it isn't a visible option as far as I can see.

Why not simply use iCloud to share documents between your iPad, Mac and other Apple devices? Obviously both your iPad and Mac need to be signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID.

To enable Notes in iCloud for your iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Notes - set to ON
