Morphie

We have have two of these wireless charging stands (one for me and one for my partner) and at the sum of £130 each we expected great things. We both have an iPhone, iwatch and EarPods so this was a perfect solution. I put my 12 pro on the stand and minutes later the LED started to flash and charging stopped. I took the phone off and replaced. A random amount of time later it started to flash again. We spoke to Apple and they agreed to replace under warranty so a new one was sent. Same issues arose again, sometimes I would wake up in the night to the charger flashing and lighting up the room. I spoke to Zagg who make Morphie products and they’ve advised that this charger CANNOT be used with the 12 Pro as Apple MagSafe technology locks out third party chargers. Several talks with Apple support (being hung up on) and we’re no closer to a solution. We’re now stuck with £260 worth of accessories that don’t work. Apple still advertises these on their website as compatible with the 12 Pro despite the manufacturers saying it isn’t. These also emit a high pitched continuous tone when charging so cannot be used on a bed stand.
