Old Macbook to new Macbook Air (music)

Hi there, I currently have an old Macbook working on 10.10 Yosemite and 12.8 iTunes. It is getting slower so I'm thinking of potentially getting a new Macbook Air.

If I did get a Macbook Air, would I be able to transfer all my music and playlists over from my Macbook to the Air? (the music is not just apple purchased, but cd imports, mp3's).

Any tips/advice would be really appreciated.
