How can I recover a Numbers workbook? I had a workbook that was saved to the iCloud Drive, recently, about a week ago, I updated the file, saved and swiped up to exit the app. I went on the app few days later and notice the workbook gone. I check both iPhone, iPad locations, deleted file location and iCloud Drive. It’s as if the workbook was never created. The workbook was originally created on my iPad.

Glad you got it worked out. What was the resolution? Reports of missing files come up from time to time but typically no one reports back on what worked or where their files were found (if they were found). Then someone else asks the same question a week or two later and we are at square one again. What you did may help others.
Have you tried signing into iCloud.com and going to Numbers for iCloud to see if the document is there?
BTW, Numbers does not have "workbooks." That is an Excel term.
