I just replaced three Apple TV 4K with three of the the latest Apple TV 4K devices with the new remote. How can I reset the old units to factory settings and ensure I don't lose all my store iCloud apps and settings? Installing the new ones was easy because iCloud had all my app info. I prefer not to reinstall the old units just to reset them.

There is no physical reset button on Apple TVs. The only way to reset them is through the menu system. They cannot be reset remotely. You should have reset them before you disconnected them. Your only option is to connect them to a display of some sort so you can see the menus.

Thanks for pointing me to an Apple support article I’ve already read. But as I said in my original post, the devices have already been disconnected and replaced with the new Apple TV’s.
I’d like to know if the old ones can be reset WITHOUT reinstalling them to follow the guidance in the article. Thanks.
Thank you very much. If I reset them, I hope that won’t affect the three new ones I just connected? The support article sort of sounds like it deletes all info and apps. I hope not what I have in iCloud. Thanks, again.
