Surface Arc Mouse - Choppy/laggy Scrolling

I recently purchased a newer version of the Microsoft Arc mouse for my M1 MacBook Air 2020 and it doesn't have a scroll wheel, but rather a touchpad-like scrolling, and it's super choppy, and makes it hard to scroll. There's no way this is how it scrolls on a Surface laptop, everything else works fine.

Is there any fix to this, or any way I can maybe change the scrolling distance? Even a 3rd party application would work.

I had the same issue, and I went to System Preferences>Mouse>Scrolling Speed set all the way to low, and that improved the choppy/lag effect. Hope this helps! Still other limitations with the mouse that I am trying to fix or work through though.

Also I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 2020, MacOS 11.5.2

Hi,

It's for Microsoft Windows PC, you would need to install driver for macOS.

Ours did not play well with any of our Macs. It was fine with the Surface Book 2 which was what it was bought for as it's a Microsoft product.

We've gotten near perfect service from our five Apple Magic mice (mouses?) and the prices were too close to be concerned with.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Could you direct me with the correct driver? I have been unable to find any Microsoft software that is available for Mac. All I've seen is Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center, and intellipoint, both of which are only for Windows.
