My downloaded music automatically pausing after playing for 15 seconds help me?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are having trouble with your music playback in Apple Music. We have some tips that may help.


It looks like you've visited our article, "Add and download music from Apple Music". While this has some great information, it may not have all the steps you need to resolve this issue.


Let's start by having your restart your iOS device. For steps, look here: Restart your iPhone


Then, remove and re-download the affected songs. Test to see if it will play past 15 seconds. If not, disable and re-enable Sync Library by going to Settings > Music > Sync Library.


Keep in mind, larger libraries may take several minutes to sync, especially on slower network connections.


Continue to test to see if the songs will play past 15 seconds. If not, sign out and back into Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases.

If the issue persists, go to Settings > Music > Audio Quality > Lossless and disable lossless. Perform the same step for Dolby Atmos.
