Sign In to Podcasts Continual Loop Glitch

Since the recent early July update my MacBook Pro continually prompts me to sign in to podcasts. The pop up shown below appears. If I enter my information to sign in, it pops up again immediately. If I cancel, it pops up again immediately. It does it with any app or webpage. This is so annoying I'm mostly using my old computer until there is a fix. As I enter this question it has popped at least 10 times.

I know others are having this issue, but I can't find any information or updates. Can anyone provide information or news on this awful glitch?

Hi Indigo867,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that the Podcasts app will not allow you to sign in and we’re happy to help! To help us resolve this issue we’d like for you to sign out of the Podcasts app and Sign in to Podcasts on Mac again. To sign out of the Podcasts app go to the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click Account > Sign Out, then Sign in to Podcasts on Mac by going back to the top menu bar and click Account > Sign in.

For additional information check out the Apple resources below:

What’s in the menu bar on Mac?

If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services

We hope this helps.

Take care.
