Siri & WhatsApp

Siri’s gone on strike! When asking Siri to “call Chris using WhatsApp” for example, Siri just says “sorry there was a problem with the app”.

Thought an update may have changed permissions or something but everything still indicates Siri has access to do this, so what the! Last auto update was IOS 14.6 so we’re all good with updates and contacts haven’t changed either.

I’ve rebooted the phone, nothing seems to fix it.

Run out of ideas on solutions to this one, so anyone with suggestions or answers to this problem?

Siri to make calls using Whatsapp has not changed on any iOS. Start looking elsewhere. It depends on the command that you had given.

Also, check if you have a strong and stable internet, Siri needs one.

For me, on iOS 14.6 it works fine.

Differences in command - NIL. Strong and stable internet - YES. Siri does no longer work in all the different environments Siri used to work in. I have also removed and reloaded the app - NO FIX. Thanks anyway for suggestions.
