Dear Apple, I myself have never used an apple device before, i need to ask an important question, i was thinking ov an idea you may or may not already know, with universities, is it possible to develop a system where in a class, audio recording, documents scanned, images and videos of, lets say, a science class, within the one class session, all the data is recorded and saved to a computer, that links to a network, where students can plug in their mobile device or laptop into a USB port on the students desk, to the network, only to download a copy of the class session that day, with available USB ports on each desk, no matter what kind ov mobile device or laptop, even a cellphone that can store data, is it possible to develop a special app designed for each different mobile products and laptops, that the university server can identify the installed app and make a direct automatic copy to the students mobile or laptop device, the class session? so the students can rehearse the class session to for their study. this may require a special server system, and a developed app installed onto mobile or laptop device, i don't know if your company has developed a system like this??? this could be a great idea if not yet created. thank you for reading.

As for your requirements, a surveillance-equipped NAS box might meet your requirements.

Synology offers some options here, and those and other the NAS boxes can be quite extensible.

Connections would necessarily be wireless too, as ~nobody is going to want to wire a room for USB.

Apple is an outstanding company , another theory i was thinking ov (if you got the time) , yaknow with cellphones and their "contacts" section that contains all their listed phone numbers, what if there is a directory folder system within the "contacts" section of a mobile device + cellphone ? then devalop an app where you can download a phone book, depending on destination and services needed for an individual, like the water company for when there is a pipe leak on the street, anything and anything to do with being out there in the world, all numbers are avalible and installed onto mobile device with the phone book folder systems

Contacts app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac has “groups”. Create a group of contacts on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Siri can acquire contact info for businesses, as well as traffic and routing info. You can (for instance) ask Siri for the hours for a business, and Siri will fetch that info, and will also offer turn-by-turn navigation to the business via CarPlay. This using voice commands. “Hey Siri, what are the hours today for {business name}” triggers all that.

And send your brainstorms to Apple. They may or may not see suggestions posted here.

Also, here is something funny for you, apple trolley services, if apple was to devalop a "let me borrow or buy" a trolley that can be used for carting supplies and groceries from the supermarket back home or to wherever destination, including a security based trolley system, to prevent thieves from stealing both and either trolley and supplies, like a metal top plate that is installed onto the top base of the trolley, that can be opend and closed using a special lock. with holding an apple mobile device, in wireless connection to a special lo-jack inside the trolley, when distance becomes split, or even a GPS map following the streets directions, when the destination becomes wrong, will alert the local authorities, at home an average lock and chain with detection if cut, and GPS in the trolley within residence location, also to prevent theives, a special shopping app can be used for this to aquire for the destination where needing to go to, with supermarkets usually outside trolleys are not allowed, make a trolley storage bay, that can collect the trollys and store them into one, when an apple customer comes out of the supermarket with the supplies, can be placed into any trolley and scanned the chip within the trolley, a special ticket will be scanned also, and the supplies are ready to be transported. ???
