How to change launchpad icon?

Hi there, this may seem nitpicky, but my eyes seem consistently unable to locate the new launchpad icon. Anyone know of a way to switch it back to the little rocket ship? I tried Applications > Launchpad > Get Info and then pasting a new one in, but the get info window won't let me do so.

as said, you can't change the icon. but if you want a custom icon on your dock, you can make a duplicate of launchpad in your applications folder.

then you CAN change the icon of the duplicate and erase the word "copy" from the name of the duplicate.

this is what you end up with in your applications folder.

then once the icon is changed and renamed, you can drag the copy's icon and drop it on your dock.
