I have an active airtag at home but I am traveling. I am being told that it is beeping away (after 3 days away). How can I get it to stop beeping? It would seem there should be a way to tell an airtag you are away and not to beep, right? Thanks!

We understand that you are separated from your AirTag and it’s currently beeping.
You can temporarily remove the AirTag from Find My Remove an AirTag or other item from Find My on iPhone
Alternatively, the person/people with your AirTag can remove the battery, which will make it so it’s not recognizing it is separated from you. To do that, press down on the polished stainless steel battery cover of your AirTag and rotate counterclockwise until the cover stops rotating. Then remove the cover and battery.
