GarageBand, classical guitar no pickup

Greetings,

i am trying to find out how to connect my classical guitar to GarageBand. Guitar does not have a pickup that I can to MacBook with a cable.

what hardware can I use?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4

People say good things about the Blue Yeti:

I use an Apogee One, but they are considered legacy.

You can use the built-in mic on your computer to get started.

You want a USB microphone. There are two many for me to recommend one, though apple has several recommendations on their site.

I have a Apple 2020 M1 chip with 8‑core CPU, 8‑core GPU, and 16‑core Neural Engine.

16GB unified memory.

i don’t have USB, I have USB-C, can you recommend one so I can understand what I need?
