Voice Control and music keep turning on randomly and skipping

Voice Control KEEPS interrupting everything I try to do on my phone. When I press the home button to get rid of the pop-up, it auto-plays my music and skips to another song several times in a row. I've heard this indicates a problem with the headphones, but I'm using a brand-new pair of Apple Lightning earphones delivered by Amazon about four hours ago (same thing happened with my old earphones). This can't be anything wrong with the headphone jack either because this is a brand-new iPhone SE I'm using too, as I got a phone upgrade about three days ago.

This is so frustrating. I can barely even use my phone because of it. What do I do?
