Apple watch says no sim

I transferred my iPhone (and number) and cellular Apple Watch 5 (new number) from Verizon to AT&T. The phone is working fine. I discovered the following day that the cellular was not working on my watch. When I go to set it up it asks for my address for wi-fi calling (which I don’t ever use and don’t need). It says my address is not found, so I cannot set-up cellular. I can’t bypass this step. I spent half the day on the phone with AT&T customer support but still no fix.
