open DMG file on new iPad

How do I open DMG file on new iPad? My Family Tree file is a .DMG file. Only bought iPad to access my Family Tree files

A DMG file is a Mac only app package, it cannot be opened on an iPad.

A DMG file is a disk image, containing files and folders. It might contain your Family Tree file and/or the Family Tree program itself, but we wouldn't expect the tree file itself to be of type DMG.
