Canon Scan Problem
I need help from the community about the scan problem with Canon E474 using on Big Sur? I couldn't sort out this issue downloading drivers and software. anybody faced this problem may help...

I need help from the community about the scan problem with Canon E474 using on Big Sur? I couldn't sort out this issue downloading drivers and software. anybody faced this problem may help...

Have you been to the Canon Support page for your printer, click below.
Make sure the operating system selector is set for macOS 11 Big Sur.
Click the Download button to download the drivers for the printer and the scanner sections.
Once downloaded double-click to install them.
Then click on the Software tab and download any software that is available for you,
once downloaded double-click to install.

I am bemused how a vendor can release their drivers a month (or more) prior to the initial operating system public release, and then later proclaim it is compatible. I might believe that these drivers were a late update release for Catalina, but if they don't work with Big Sur 11.4, then the end-user pays the price in lost functionality and lost vendor credibility.
