Big Sur 11.4 External Keyboard Connectivity Issue

Hi,

A few days ago, I have updated Big Sur 11.2 to 11.4.

I am having an external keyboard connectivity issue since then.

My keyboard is HyperX alloy FPS Pro, my laptop is M1 16GB 512GB MBP.

After using the computer for a while, some keys after pressing; the screen does not show any letters being inserted for that key. That particular key will only work if I unplug the keyboard from its cable and replug the cable back into the keyboard.

This is very annoying for typing.

Any workarounds for this?

Thanks,

Hongxiang

Hello Hongxiang,

We understand that you're having trouble using your HyperX alloy FPS Pro with your M1 Mac. In reviewing the manufacturer's site, Alloy FPS Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard | HyperX, we do not see Mac listed under their compatible devices. So we would recommend contacting them to confirm if this keyboard is compatible with Mac usage.
