I have been facing rusting issues at the bottom part and sides of the iphone 12 pro.
Since iphone 12 pro has stainless steel body, this issue shouldn't occur right?
Could someone help?

Hi,
I did visit the apple store nearby, they said rusting doesnt come under their service.
I need to contact Apple directly.
I also had a talk with apple advisor. After showing them the rusted part, she said this seems to be a manufacturing defect. I have also attached the screenshot of the chat.
Since this is fairly a new device, i did not expect this kind of service from a company like apple.
I need some kind of resolution because i cannot keep on cleaning the rusted part and continue to use the phone.
In near future there could be a possibility that other parts will also become dis functional because of the rusted part.

If you went to a real Apple Store you have already contacted Apple directly as the store is owned by Apple. If you wish to contact Apple again but not through the store then use the Get Support link at the top of the page.
In India, we dont have service centres directly owned by apple.
We have service centres such as Unicorn, Maple etc that are authorised by apple.
I need concerned person/Team email id , so that i can escalate this issue.

I have already physically inspected at the authorised service centre already.
They said this rusting issue doesnt come under their service.
If you have any contact of apple service centres (near postal code:400102), you can suggest me.
If there are no stores then use the link I provided you. There is nothing we can do for you here as the phone will likely need to be physically inspected.

I have tried that also, they have taken all the pics and report and they said they will revert me back.
But i am still waiting for their reply.
Then wait for a reply.
