Screen touch not responding

I have apple care warranty till 2022. My iPad Pro has stopped responding to the touch and thus I can’t make use of it for the last days. I only bought it last May. I have a service appointment at apple store this week and I want to ask if they can replace it with a new one as this costed me almost £ 2,000 so I am really disappointed by its performance. Do you think I will be eligible for replacement?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

If you paid for the extended, two-year+ AppleCare+ warranty, then yes.

There will be a somewhat small device replacement fee cost, though.

The replacement device is NOT totally, completely free.

In the U.S.A, the device replacement fee, under two-year AppleCare+, is $49 U.S.D..
