Quicktime Airplay

Need help. I have tried casting video via QuickTime from MacBook on to Samsung smart TV, however it fails to play the video. The airplay screen does appear on the TV but the video refuses to play / stream. All the softwares are up to date and the airplay (screen mirror and audio casting) works fine.

Please advise on the solution or if there is an alternate application which can be used to cast video.
