M1 MacBook Air Crackling Bluetooth Audio

I have the M1 Macbook Air and I've had the Airpod pros and have been using them and a bose headset for bluetooth connection. The bose headset was intermittantly crackling and downgrading the audio quality when connecting to the M1 with no apparent reason as to why. I did not have this issue with my Airpod Pros.

I bought the Airpod Max and straight out the box I am having the same issue. I have restarted the Airpod Max's several times. I have restarted my Macbook Air several times as this seems to be the only fix. So at this point, I believe it's an issue with my Macbook M1 Air. It doesn't matter if I'm listening to youtube, Apple Music, or a lecture on google chrome or safari, the Bluetooth connection randomly downgrades the quality significantly to where it sounds like I'm listening on speakerphone from back in 2006.

Any help?? I'm half tempted to return my Airpod Max since this is still happening and now happening to my Air Pod pros.
